New Album Out Today!

Huzzah! We've got a brand new album for you today to help ring in 2022. Think of it as Euphoric Ouroboric Part 2, if you will. But with a simpler and sexier name -- REMEMBER MY FUTURE.

The songs cover a wide emotional gamut — there’s a love song for a smartphone, an exploration of the Conquest of Mexico from the perspective of the Aztec gods, existential quandaries, and a wistful Missouri ballad — but the beating heart of the band shines through with a message for 2022: “Hope is better than despair” and “The world needs all of our love.”

We picked up right where we left off with our brilliant friend producer Alec Spiegelman and made this second quarantine record, inspired by improvisations, loops, collaborations, and explorations. We roped in so many of our talented friends from afar (Max Jaffe, Anthony da Costa, Emily Hope Prince, Dan Molad) to make these tracks sparkle and groove. We got more comfortable recording ourselves and using the studio as a tool, allowing us to get weirder and more precise about capturing our sonic dreams.

Suz found a gorgeous viola at a pawnshop and put it right to use. We conjured up a female supergroup and brought their amazing voices together. Thank you Diane Cluck, Devon Sproule, & Lauren Plank Goans!

David ripped an electric guitar solo for the first time on a record. We revamped an old song by one of our oldest collaborators Jordan Wax and co-wrote a French cumbia with the epically talented Danilo Henriquez! We can’t wait for you to dig into the record.
