Hi friends, We’ve decided to create a CSA — but with songs instead of veggies. Think of it as Community Supported “Artist-culture.” With all our touring cancelled this spring we’re asking our community to chip in a few bucks a month to help sustain the artists that bring you your musical food. We’ve got exclusive goodies we’ve been waiting to share with you. We promise they’re all grass-fed. And no animals were harmed in the creation of these products. Your musical farmers, Suz &amp; David Here are some of the things we'd like to share with you: <ul><li>A window into the development of your favorite songs as they've morphed from simple demos and early band arrangements into the fully-formed studio creations and time-tested live versions you know so well.&nbsp; </li></ul> <ul><li>Exclusive outtakes from the studio albums.</li></ul> <ul><li>Special Patreon-only stripped-down versions of your favorite songs.</li></ul> <ul><li>Suz's music education videos for kids.</li></ul> <ul><li>Conversations between Suz and her producer in the early development of her next solo album.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li></ul> <ul><li>David's deep dive writings about the stories behind the music (currently Song of the Week).&nbsp;</li></ul> <ul><li>Suz's writings here about being a touring mama struggling with bipolar disorder.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li></ul> <ul><li>Maybe we'll finally develop that podcast for younger artists about how to get started making a career in music and post it here first.&nbsp;</li></ul> We started the band back in Boston in 2007, and thanks to supporters like you, we've been able to keep the music flowing for over a decade. In September of 2017 we performed our 1000th show together at Toad, the little bar in Porter Square where we first started honing our Mexo-Americana sound. In 13 years we've come a long way from Suz working in a development office by day and playing in old time bands by night, and David busking in the Boston subway and trekking to open-mics across town. We continue to feel so grateful that we can make a life in music, especially now that we tour as a family with our six-year-old daughter and three-year-old son.&nbsp; Thank you for supporting us time and again. The tiers: We want to offer all the Patreon content to everyone, regardless of how much you can contribute.&nbsp; We know these are tough times for folks, and so we greatly appreciate any amount you're able to give.&nbsp; We believe these ephemeral arts are more important than ever, and we're honored to be in community with you, giving and receiving.
