Guster + Wood Brothers Tour Recap

A HUGE thank you to the @thewoodbros and @guster for having us along on this 10-day tour through heat domes, van homes, epic poems, and vibrant microphones.

These are some of the most down-to-earth, big-hearted folks out there, and it was an honor to play in front of their crowds each night.

We met @oliverwoodmusic 10 years ago, and it was such a pleasure getting to know him better and to witness this tight trio machine he’s built with Jano Rix and Chris Wood. It was a master class every night to watch them fire on all cylinders. I felt stirred in my soul by the depth of their songs.

Ryan Miller (of Guster) is the consummate performer, and what a joy it was to watch him go out into the crowd every night, break down the 4th wall and be a smile-maker. So many memorable hooks and turns-of-phrase. Their last two records are my favorites of their career, and how inspiring to see a band continue to keep getting better after 30 years.

Thanks to all the venues and amazing crew esp. Daniel Thiels, Daniel Ramirez, and Laura Foote who made it such a seamless experience for us. What an invigorating tour!
